It’s official…we’ve changed our name to Abbott | Reed Inc.! A change in name only, Abbott | Reed is still under the same ownership, comprised of the same capable team, all driven by the same commitment to build better.
Effective immediately, multidisciplinary construction and real estate development firm, Robbins | Reed is now known as Abbott | Reed. The name change was certified last month with the California Secretary of State.

As the same legal entity, Abbott | Reed continues to proudly uphold its existing commitments to its homeowners and communities.
Following the company’s change in ownership three years ago, the name change was made to reflect longtime employee Aaryn Abbott’s updated role as Principal in addition to his contributions as Vice President.
“After 10 years of indispensable contributions to the company, I’m proud to have Aaryn’s name next to mine,” said Shawn Reed, Principal. “Aaryn’s diverse skill set and unshakeable drive are a big part of our success.”
Abbott first joined Abbott | Reed in 2010. An alumnus of California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, he earned his Masters of Real Estate Development at the University of Southern California before becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker. In addition to his ownership role at Abbott | Reed, Aaryn is driven to make housing more accessible and sustainable here on the Central Coast where he serves on the board of the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast, sits on the SLO Chamber’s Economic Development Committee, and is a member of the San Luis Obispo Association of Realtors. He enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for lifetime learning, trail running, and exploring the intersection between cities and nature.
