For visitors and locals alike, the SLO Brew Lofts are a luxurious haven in the heart of San Luis Obispo, CA.

Abbott | Reed transformed the second floor of the Carissa building into spacious vacation lofts, no small task given the SLO Brew restaurant, bar and concert venue a floor below. To mitigate sound transmission between floors, the team took time to determine the ideal acoustics so each space effectively serves its distinct audience.

In order to tackle the retrofit of the building, Abbott | Reed coordinated the hand delivery of all building materials directly to the site – a challenging stipulation of the downtown location.
